St Lucia is an enchanting island centrally located in the Windward Island chain in the Eastern Caribbean Sea. Part of the Lesser Antilles, this tropical destination is positioned between Martinique and St. Vincent.
Possessing some of the finest natural harbours in the Caribbean, St Lucia has a tropical year-round climate paired with cooling trade winds. The island has dramatic contrasting features, ranging from glorious white sand beaches to lush, mountain rainforest terrains. There are many developments in St Lucia, from the prestigious Cap Estate in the north of the island down to the east and west coast. However, between the magnificent Val des Pitons, part of only 180 natural UNESCO World Heritage Sites worldwide; there is just one – The Residences at Sugar Beach.
Just 238 square miles in size, St Lucia is the most stunning destination in the Caribbean. Situated on the south west coast, The Residences at Sugar Beach afford spectacular sunset views.
The St Lucian Government is currently planning to upgrade Hewanorra International Airport on the south coast by adding a new terminal with modern facilities to accommodate more air traffic to the island. St Lucia also boasts Rodney Bay marina in the north of the island, which has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation. As one of the Caribbean’s leading centres for yachting, Rodney Bay offers 248 slips and a new mega yacht pier featuring 32 berths with support facilities for mega yachts of up to 250 feet in length.
